Gina L. Cumbo is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School where she served as production and selection coordinator for the Michigan Journal of Gender and Law. Gina also holds a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan School of Social Work. She earned her undergraduate degree at Fairhaven College of Western Washington University where she studied Women Studies, U.S. Women’s History and Law. She is a graduate of Western Washington University’s Honors Program.

Gina is an experienced litigator with a background in criminal defense. Prior to joining Chihak & Gustad, Gina worked as Assistant Regional Counsel for the Social Security Administration.

Gina maintains an active volunteer schedule with the King County Bar Association, Seattle Community Law Center, Unemployment Law Project and the Center for Children & Youth Justice’s Lawyers Fostering Independence Program.

Gina’s practice is devoted to representing adults and children before the Social Security Administration and in Federal Court who have been denied Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income.
